Synopsis

Paper Flags is a heartwarming story about a young girl named Lily who lives in a small village in Japan. Lily's father is a soldier who has been deployed to a faraway country, and she misses him terribly. To cope with her loneliness, Lily decides to make paper flags and hang them around the village in the hopes that they will bring her father back home safely.

As Lily's paper flags start to catch the attention of her neighbors, they too begin to make their own flags and join in the effort to bring her father back.
