Synopsis

Parting Glances is a film that follows the story of Michael and Robert, a gay couple living in New York City during the 1980s. The film takes place over the course of 24 hours as they navigate their relationship and the challenges they face as a gay couple in a society that is not always accepting.

As the couple prepares to say goodbye to each other as Robert is set to move to Africa for work, they must confront their fears and insecurities about the future of their relationship.
