Tomasz becomes acquainted with the reality of life in the countryside of the 1990s/2000s, where the only workplace (GS - Gminna Spóldzielnia "Samopomoc Chlopska") has been liquidated, causing the villagers to lose their jobs and the meaning of life. Deprived of work and entertainment, barely making ends meet, the only consolation they find in drinking cheap wine. People unadapted to life in the new post-transition reality are determined to get money and improve their lot with the help of a businessman. Thomas has only 30 days to change their lives.
