Synopsis

Red Christmas is a horror film set during the holiday season in Australia. Diane, portrayed by Dee Wallace, gathers her estranged family for a chaotic Christmas celebration. However, the festivities take a dark turn when a ghost from Diane's past shows up at their door.

The stranger turns out to be Cletus, Diane's aborted fetus, who has somehow survived and is now seeking revenge on his mother. As Cletus terrorizes the family, Diane must confront her past and reveal the horrifying truth to her loved ones, including her Down Syndrome son, Jerry.

As the family fights for survival, Diane must come to terms with the consequences of her actions twenty years ago before it's too late. Red Christmas is a chilling tale of family secrets and the ghosts of Christmas past coming back to haunt them.

Additionally, I felt that the choice of musical themes and motifs in the soundtrack sometimes clashed with the tone of the movie, creating a disjointed and jarring listening experience. It seemed like the music was trying too hard to be edgy and unsettling, but ended up feeling forced and out of place within the context of the storyline.
