The choice of instrumentation in the soundtrack of Restoration was disappointing, as it did not align with the historical period and setting of the story. The modern sound and electronic elements felt out of place and detracted from the immersion into the world of 17th century England, making it difficult to connect emotionally with the characters and their struggles.
