Synopsis

Saint-Jacques... La Mecque is a French comedy film directed by Coline Serreau. The story follows three siblings, Clara, Pierre, and Claude, who are forced to embark on a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in Spain in order to fulfill their late mother's last wish. However, things take an unexpected turn when they accidentally end up in Mecca, Saudi Arabia instead.

The film explores themes of family, faith, and cultural differences as the siblings navigate their way through unfamiliar territory and encounter various challenges along the way. Despite the mix-up, they are determined to complete their journey and honor their mother's memory.
