Synopsis

In a devastated Earth overrun by invincible predators of a possible extraterrestrial origin, the Abbotts are struggling to survive in the desolate urban jungle of New York City: a death trap defined by a new era of utter silence. Indeed, as noise attracts this new type of invader, even the slightest of sounds can be deadly. However, even though it's already been twelve months since the powerful monsters' first sightings, the resilient Abbott family still stands strong. In this muted dystopia, learning the rules of survival is crucial. And now, more than ever, the Abbotts must not make a sound.

User reviews

Kimberly Martin
4/10

The soundtrack of Sans un bruit felt repetitive and lacked variation. The same tension-building motifs and suspenseful notes were used repeatedly throughout the movie, making it feel monotonous and predictable.

Dorothy White
6/10

On the other hand, I found the lack of traditional musical score in some scenes to be a bit jarring. While it did contribute to the overall sense of unease, there were moments where I wished for a more melodic or emotional accompaniment to enhance certain dramatic moments. A more varied use of music could have added depth to the storytelling and character development.

Deborah Turner
4/10

Some of the musical cues in Sans un bruit felt out of place and disconnected from the on-screen action. I found myself being pulled out of the movie's intense and suspenseful moments by jarring transitions in the soundtrack, which disrupted the overall cohesion of the viewing experience.

Edward Martin
9/10

The seamless integration of music with the diegetic sounds of the characters' environment adds a unique layer of realism to the film, making the soundtrack feel like an integral part of the storytelling.

Patricia Robinson
9/10

The atmospheric and haunting soundtrack of A Quiet Place perfectly captures the tension and suspense of the film, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

Lisa Johnson
10/10

The use of minimalistic sounds and eerie tones in the score creates a sense of unease and fear, effectively immersing the audience in the post-apocalyptic world of the film.

Kenneth Lopez
3/10

I found the music in Sans un bruit to be overpowering and distracting at times. Instead of enhancing the suspenseful atmosphere of the film, the intense orchestral score often drowned out important dialogue and sound effects, making it difficult to fully immerse myself in the story.

William Wilson
6/10

The soundtrack of A Quiet Place perfectly captures the tension and suspense of the film's dystopian world. The use of minimalistic and eerie sounds enhances the feeling of constant danger lurking in the silence. It effectively conveys the characters' struggle to survive in a world where even the smallest noise could mean death.
