"Sex with Love" is a story set in Santiago, Chile, where schoolteacher Luisa decides to initiate a debate about sex education with the parents of her students. She is torn between her love for her young partner Valentín and her affair with the older and successful writer Jorge, who is married but estranged from his wife Mónica.
During the meeting, the parents are divided into groups, with Luisa paired with Jorge, along with the womanizer Álvaro and his pregnant wife Elena, and the shy butcher Emilio and his frigid wife Maca. Álvaro is portrayed as unfaithful and neglectful towards his wife, while Emilio is seduced by his niece Susan, leading to a discovery of his own sexuality.
As Luisa discovers she is pregnant and Valentín prepares to move to São Paulo, she must make a decision about her romantic future. Meanwhile, tensions rise as Álvaro becomes jealous of Elena's rekindled friendship with Carlos, leading to further complications in the relationships of the characters.
