Synopsis

Shooter is a 2007 action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg as Bob Lee Swagger, a former Marine Corps sniper who is framed for an assassination attempt on the President of the United States.

**After being betrayed by his own government, Swagger goes on the run to clear his name and find the real culprits behind the conspiracy. Along the way, he teams up with a rookie FBI agent played by Michael Peña and a journalist portrayed by Kate Mara. Together, they uncover a web of deceit and corruption that goes all the way to the top.
