Synopsis

Sibel is a Turkish drama film directed by Cagla Zencirci and Guillaume Giovanetti. The story follows a young woman named Sibel who lives in a remote mountain village in Turkey. She communicates through a unique whistling language used by the villagers. Sibel is determined to find her missing father, who has been accused of being a traitor. Despite facing discrimination and isolation from the villagers, Sibel continues her search for her father while also challenging traditional gender roles in her community.
