Synopsis

Sliver is a psychological thriller novel written by Ira Levin. The story follows a young woman named Kay Norris who moves into a luxurious Manhattan apartment building called Sliver. As she settles into her new home, Kay becomes increasingly suspicious of her neighbors and the building's owner, Zeke Hawkins.

As Kay delves deeper into the secrets of Sliver, she discovers a network of hidden cameras that allow Zeke to spy on the residents. The voyeuristic nature of the building creates a tense and unsettling atmosphere, as Kay realizes she may be the next target of Zeke's surveillance.

Sliver explores themes of privacy, obsession, and control, as Kay struggles to uncover the truth behind the sinister activities taking place in her own home. The novel builds to a shocking climax that will leave readers questioning the boundaries of trust and the lengths people will go to in the name of power.
