Synopsis

Todd McFarlane's Spawn is a 1997 American superhero film based on the comic book character of the same name created by Todd McFarlane. The film follows the story of Al Simmons, a government assassin who is betrayed and killed by his own agency. He makes a deal with the devil to return to Earth as Spawn, a Hellspawn with superhuman abilities.

As Spawn navigates his new life, he seeks revenge on those who wronged him while also trying to resist the devil's control over him. Along the way, he encounters various supernatural beings and struggles with his own inner demons.
