Starman - O Homem das Estrelas

Synopsis

Starman is a science fiction film that tells the story of an alien spacecraft that comes to Earth in search of contact with humans. In 1977, the Voyager 2 travels to outer space carrying messages of peace and greetings from Earth.

A small alien spacecraft is shot down by military airplanes and crashes in Chequamegon Bay, WI. The alien takes the form of energy and wanders to the house of young widow Jenny Hayden, using the DNA from a hair of her husband Scott to take a human form.

The Starman contacts his mother ship and needs to be in a crater in Arizona in a couple of days to return to his star. Jenny is forced to take him to Arizona, despite her initial hostility towards him. She eventually learns that he is a peaceful being and decides to help him.

However, the army, led by the NSA chief George Fox, is chasing them. On the other hand, SETI scientist Mark Shermin believes that The Starman has come to Earth peacefully and wants to help him.
