Synopsis

Steel Rain is a South Korean action thriller film that follows the story of a North Korean spy who teams up with a South Korean official to prevent a nuclear war.

The movie begins with a coup in North Korea, leading to chaos and uncertainty in the region. The North Korean leader is killed, and a power struggle ensues among various factions within the country.

Amidst the turmoil, a North Korean spy named Eom Chul-Woo is sent on a mission to assassinate key figures in the South Korean government. However, his plans are disrupted when he is captured by a South Korean official named Kwak Chul-Woo.

Realizing that they both have a common enemy and a shared goal of preventing a nuclear war, Eom and Kwak must work together to uncover a conspiracy that threatens the stability of the Korean Peninsula. As they navigate through political intrigue and betrayal, they must also confront their own personal demons and past traumas.
