Synopsis

Strawberry & Chocolate is a Cuban film that tells the story of a friendship between two very different men. David is a straight and conservative university student, while Diego is a gay artist who loves life and freedom. Despite their differences, they form a close bond that challenges their beliefs and prejudices.

David initially approaches Diego with the intention of spying on him for the government, but as they spend more time together, he begins to question his own beliefs and values. Strawberry & Chocolate explores themes of tolerance, acceptance, and the power of friendship to overcome societal barriers.
