Synopsis

The Book of Life is a 2014 animated film directed by Jorge R. Gutierrez. The story follows a young man named Manolo who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart. Manolo embarks on an incredible journey through three different worlds in order to prove his love for Maria, the woman of his dreams.

As Manolo faces various challenges and battles, he must confront his fears and insecurities in order to find his true purpose in life. Along the way, he is guided by his ancestors and learns valuable lessons about love, courage, and the importance of staying true to oneself.
