Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a young girl named Sarah. She lived with her grandmother, who was her only family. Sarah and her grandmother were very poor, but they always found a way to make each other happy.
As Christmas approached, Sarah wanted to give her grandmother a special gift. She had been saving up all year, doing odd jobs around the neighborhood, to buy her grandmother a beautiful locket. Sarah knew her grandmother would love it, as she had always admired it in the shop window.
On Christmas morning, Sarah presented the locket to her grandmother. Tears welled up in her grandmother's eyes as she opened the gift. She hugged Sarah tightly and told her it was the most precious gift she had ever received.
That Christmas, Sarah learned that the greatest gift of all is the love we share with others. And her grandmother learned that the love of family is worth more than any material possession.
