Synopsis

The Fly is a science fiction horror film directed by David Cronenberg. The story follows a scientist named Seth Brundle who invents a teleportation device. During an experiment, a housefly accidentally enters the teleportation pod with him, resulting in their genes being fused together.

As a result of the fusion, Brundle begins to undergo a horrifying transformation into a human-fly hybrid. His body starts to deteriorate, and he develops insect-like abilities. The film explores themes of identity, transformation, and the consequences of scientific experimentation.
