Synopsis

Having fled from a toxic relationship, Sarah O'Neill and her timid son Chris want to start afresh. But settling into their new home in the lush woods of Northern Ireland is easier said than done. And then, a spine-chilling encounter with a creepy stranger disturbs the fragile mother-and-son peace. As Sarah tries to move on with her life, a disturbing change in Chris' behaviour marks the beginning of a nightmarish experience where nothing is what it seems. Sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction. Does this dark turn have something to do with the forest's mysterious hole in the ground?

I found the musical choices in the film to be predictable and cliché, resorting to typical horror movie tropes without offering anything fresh or innovative. The soundtrack lacked originality and failed to leave a lasting impression on me.
