Penance Lane is a horror film that follows the story of a hardened criminal named Crimson Matthews who is on the run from the law. He ends up hiding out in a rundown boarding house on Penance Lane, where he meets a group of misfits who are also seeking redemption.

As Crimson tries to lay low and avoid getting caught, he starts to uncover the dark secrets of the boarding house and its mysterious owner, Mr. Godfrey. The house is haunted by a malevolent force that preys on the residents, leading to a series of terrifying events that force Crimson to confront his own past sins.

With the help of his newfound friends, Crimson must face his demons and fight for survival as the evil presence on Penance Lane grows stronger. Will he be able to escape the horrors of the boarding house, or will he be consumed by the darkness that lurks within?
