Synopsis

The Kill Count is a thrilling novel that follows the story of a retired detective who is haunted by the unsolved murder cases from his past. As he delves into his old files, he discovers a pattern in the killings that leads him to believe there is a serial killer on the loose.

Determined to catch the killer before they strike again, the detective teams up with a young and ambitious journalist who is eager to make a name for herself. Together, they race against time to unravel the mystery behind the murders and bring the perpetrator to justice.

As they get closer to the truth, they realize that the killer is always one step ahead of them, leaving a trail of bodies in their wake. The detective must confront his own demons and face the possibility that the killer may have a personal connection to him.

With suspenseful twists and turns, The Kill Count will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. Will the detective and the journalist be able to stop the killer before it's too late, or will they become the next victims in the killer's deadly game?
