Synopsis

The scientist Dr. Lawrence Angelo has been developing for five years an enhanced intellectual performance of chimpanzees using drugs and virtual reality in the Virtual Space Industries.

When his best subject is trained with increased aggression for military purpose, escapes from his cage and is killed by the security forces of the laboratory, he tells his chief Sebastian Timms that he would quit his job in the VSI.

His wife Caroline Angelo leaves him and when he sees the mentally deficient gardener Jobe Smith, he offers to improve his intelligence.

Jobe accepts the challenge and soon he becomes smarter. Dr. Angelo contacts Timms and shows his results with Jobe and asks to use VSI's laboratory since he had reached the top in his personal laboratory.

He proceeds the experiment without using the aggression factor in Jobe. But when the Director asks Timms to inject the aggression factor of Project 5 in Jobe, the result is tragic and unexpected.
