The Madness of King George
In this historical drama, King George III is the ruler of England during the late 18th century. As his behavior becomes increasingly erratic and unpredictable, his wife, Queen Charlotte, and his Prime Minister, William Pitt, grow concerned about his mental state.
After a series of embarrassing incidents, including a public outburst during a royal event, the King is diagnosed with porphyria, a rare genetic disorder that affects his mental health. As his condition worsens, his son, the Prince of Wales, begins to plot to take over the throne.
Despite the efforts of his doctors and advisors, the King's madness continues to escalate, leading to a constitutional crisis in England. Will the King be able to regain his sanity and hold onto his power, or will he be forced to abdicate the throne?
