Synopsis

The Next Best Thing is a romantic comedy film that follows the story of Abbie Reynolds, a single woman who decides to have a baby with her gay best friend, Robert Whittaker.

Abbie and Robert's unconventional arrangement is put to the test when Abbie falls in love with a new man, Ben Cooper. As their relationship blossoms, Abbie must navigate the complexities of her feelings for both Robert and Ben, while also dealing with the challenges of co-parenting with her best friend.
