"The Nine" Pilot Soundtrack (2006)

Synopsis

Lucas Dalton, his brother Peter and his partner attempt a bank robbery, taking everyone hostage, despite noticing the presence of police officer Nick Cavanaugh. When the police raid 52 hours, the bank guard is killed. Egan Foote, who was planning to commit suicide, becomes an accidental hero. Pete Dalton dies, Dr. Jeremy Kates is able to save some of his fellow hostages. Nick furiously beats up his boss for conceiving the bullshit bailout plan, but is offered a promotion without penalty if he "keeps his opinion to himself." Nine survivors, including Jeremy, Nick, his assistant friend D.A. Kathryn Hale, the banker, and Egan, start an informal group of regular meetings. Felicia misses the first meeting, to see Pete in jail.
