Synopsis

The Oath

In a near-future America, all citizens are required to sign a loyalty oath to the government by Black Friday. Chris (Ike Barinholtz) and his wife Kai (Tiffany Haddish) are determined to enjoy a peaceful Thanksgiving dinner with their family, despite the growing tensions in the country.

However, when two government agents show up at their door, Chris and Kai's plans are thrown into chaos. As the deadline to sign the oath approaches, the couple must navigate through political turmoil, family drama, and personal beliefs to protect their freedom and their loved ones.

As the situation escalates, Chris and Kai must make difficult choices that will test their loyalty to each other and to their country. Will they be able to uphold their principles in the face of government pressure, or will they be forced to make a sacrifice that will change their lives forever?
