The musical choices in The Poisoning Angel seemed out of place at times, detracting from the immersion in the story of a notorious serial killer. The score did not effectively convey the tension and dread that should have accompanied Hélène's reign of terror, missing an opportunity to elevate the overall viewing experience.

On the other hand, I felt that at times the soundtrack of The Poisoning Angel was a bit repetitive and lacked diversity. While it effectively set the mood for the film, I wished there had been more variation in the musical themes to reflect the different emotions and events portrayed on screen.
