Synopsis

The Rose and the Jackal is a thrilling historical drama set during the American Civil War. The story follows Allan Pinkerton, a detective working for the Union Army, as he embarks on a dangerous mission to uncover a Confederate plot to assassinate President Abraham Lincoln.

Pinkerton enlists the help of Kate Warne, the first female detective in the United States, to infiltrate the Confederate spy network and gather crucial information. As they work together to unravel the conspiracy, Pinkerton and Warne find themselves drawn to each other in a forbidden romance.
