The White Crow is a biographical drama film that tells the story of the legendary Russian ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev. The film follows Nureyev's rise to fame in the Soviet Union and his eventual defection to the West in 1961.
As a young dancer, Nureyev faces many challenges and obstacles in his pursuit of excellence. Despite the strict rules and regulations of the Soviet ballet world, Nureyev's talent and determination set him apart from his peers.
However, Nureyev's rebellious nature and outspoken personality make him a target for the authorities. When he is given the opportunity to perform in Paris, Nureyev seizes the chance to escape from the oppressive regime of the Soviet Union.
