Synopsis

They Call Me Jeeg Robot is an Italian superhero film directed by Gabriele Mainetti. The story follows Enzo, a small-time criminal who gains superhuman strength after coming into contact with radioactive waste in the Tiber River. Despite his newfound abilities, Enzo is reluctant to become a hero and instead uses his powers for personal gain.

However, Enzo's life takes a turn when he meets Alessia, a young woman with a troubled past who believes he is the reincarnation of her favorite Japanese anime character, Jeeg Robot. As Enzo begins to develop feelings for Alessia, he is forced to confront his own morality and decide whether to use his powers for good or continue down a path of self-destruction.
