Synopsis

Maria, a Colombian nurse who lost her daughter at the hands of three militiamen, travels to the Spanish Canary Islands accompanied by her youngest son to find one of the killers and get her revenge. She keeps with her a picture that she found in the ruined home, showing a face, an inscription and a name: Ivan.

Gonzalo, a school psychologist whose existence changes dramatically the moment he meets Maria, joins her incessant and obsessive search. Meanwhile, in their little corner of the island, Ivan and his girlfriend Vero are unaware that their lives are about to change forever.

María, una enfermera colombiana que perdió a su hija a manos de tres paramilitares, viaja desde Colombia acompañada por su hijo pequeño, hasta Santa Cruz de Tenerife para encontrar y vengarse de uno de los asesinos. Guarda una foto que encontró en su hogar destruido, con un rostro, una dedicatoria y un nombre: Iván. Gonzalo, un psicólogo escolar cuya existencia da un vuelco el día que conoce a Maria, se implicará con ella en su incesante y obsesiva búsqueda. Mientras tanto, ajenos a todo, en algún rincón de la capital canaria, la vida de Iván y su novia Vero está a punto de cambiar para siempre.
