On the eve of the end of the state-owned monopoly on television and the rapid growth of the private broadcasters, Takis, an audacious cat burglar, breaks into the barely guarded premises of a nearly bankrupt state TV channel. However, there is nothing valuable inside the building, and, refusing to leave empty-handed, Takis decides to have a drink, only to fall asleep in the comfortable leather chair of the organisation's recently dismissed general manager.
As one thing leads to another, Takis takes a perverse pleasure in posing as the station's high-profile executive, ushering in a new, mad era of information and public entertainment. But is Greece prepared for Takis' bold vision?
