Synopsis

Titus is a tragedy play written by William Shakespeare. It tells the story of Titus Andronicus, a Roman general who returns from a brutal war with the Goths. He sacrifices the eldest son of their queen, Tamora, in order to honor the deaths of his own sons. This act sets off a chain of events that leads to a cycle of revenge, betrayal, and violence.
