Touch of Pink is a story about Alim, an Indo-Canadian man living in London, England, to escape his repressive life in Toronto under the watchful eye of his critical mother, Nuru.
For Nuru and her competitive sister Dolly, maintaining a perfect public Muslim persona is paramount.
Alim is able to live openly as a homosexual in London, in a loving relationship with his British boyfriend, Giles.
To navigate his complicated life, Alim seeks advice from the spirit of 'Cary Grant'.
When Nuru decides to visit Alim in London, he must hide his relationship with Giles and his sexual orientation.
As Nuru's visit progresses, both Alim and Nuru begin to understand what is truly important in their lives, leading to true happiness.
