Synopsis

"Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson" is a documentary film that tells the story of the first African American heavyweight boxing champion, Jack Johnson.

The film explores Johnson's rise to fame in the early 20th century, as he became one of the most dominant and controversial figures in sports history.

Johnson's success in the ring was met with intense racism and backlash from white society, who were outraged by his relationships with white women and his refusal to conform to racial stereotypes.
