Synopsis

This impressive and dangerous series highlights both the controversial Japanese whaling trade and the tactics the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and its staff and volunteers use to cripple it. Aboard the motor yacht "Steve Irwin", the group searches for the Japanese whaling fleet and then uses their Delta Zodiac, helicopter, and other innovative law enforcement techniques, including close ship-to-ship contact, to defuse and/or or sink Japanese whaling ships in the fight to enforce international law on the high seas, where law enforcement is minimal or non-existent. Successful engagements disrupt the processing of whale carcasses and disperse the fleet of whaling ships.
