Synopsis

In Greenbrier Back Country, West Virginia, the retired military Dale Murphy is hosting a tough survivor show where the winner takes US$ 100,000.00. The proposal of the reality show is to survive in the woods in the most adverse conditions, following predetermined rules.

Soon the contestants find that they are really fighting to survive against a strong, sadistic and violent cannibalistic family with the appearance of monsters. Further, Colonel Dale discloses that many years ago, an abandoned pulp mill released chemical waste into the creek, killing the animals and transforming the descendants of a local family in deformed mutants.

Without animals to hunt or fish to catch, the next generation chases travelers to feed themselves.

Michelle Nelson
2/10

The choice of songs in the film felt completely out of place and disconnected from the storyline. Instead of complementing the action on screen, the soundtrack seemed to distract from the intense moments, breaking the immersion and ruining the overall viewing experience.

Dorothy Smith
6/10

The choice of music during the action sequences is adrenaline-pumping and keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. The fast-paced beats and intense instrumentals heighten the sense of urgency and danger in the movie.

Laura Jones
1/10

The lack of originality in the musical score was disappointing. I was hoping for a unique and memorable soundtrack that would add depth to the characters and the plot, but instead, it felt like a recycled collection of cliché horror movie tunes that did little to elevate the film.

Jennifer Thomas
10/10

The music in the movie effectively sets the tone for the survival horror theme, creating a sense of urgency and tension. The eerie sounds and haunting melodies add an extra layer of depth to the storyline, making the whole experience even more thrilling and immersive.

Nancy Hall
5/10

The incorporation of gritty and raw sound effects in the soundtrack adds a layer of realism to the survival horror theme of the film. The sounds of the wilderness and the mutants lurking in the woods are truly bone-chilling.

James Jackson
8/10

The use of haunting melodies and unsettling sounds creates a sense of unease and foreboding, adding an extra layer of fear to the already terrifying storyline. The music heightens the horror elements of the movie and contributes to the overall sense of dread and danger that permeates every scene.

Daniel Turner
6/10

The soundtrack effectively captures the desperation and fear of the characters as they struggle to survive in the unforgiving wilderness. The haunting melodies and eerie harmonies create a sense of unease that lingers throughout the film.

Thomas Green
6/10

The use of silence in certain scenes is incredibly effective in building tension and anticipation. The absence of music adds a sense of foreboding, making the audience hold their breath in anticipation of what's to come.
