Synopsis

The Happenings

In a small town called Willow Creek, strange events start occurring. People begin to notice unexplained phenomena happening around them. Lights flicker, objects move on their own, and whispers can be heard in the dead of night.

As the townspeople try to make sense of these mysterious occurrences, a group of friends decide to investigate. They uncover a dark secret that has been buried for decades, and realize that they may be in grave danger.

With the help of a local historian, the friends piece together the haunting history of Willow Creek and discover that the town is built on a ancient burial ground. They must find a way to stop the supernatural forces that have been unleashed before it's too late.

Will they be able to put an end to The Happenings and save their town from destruction?

Mark Garcia
6/10

While the music of Ye che sets the tone for the supernatural thriller, some tracks may feel repetitive and lack originality. The use of cliché horror tropes in the score detracts from the overall impact of the film, making certain scenes predictable and less engaging. A more innovative approach to the soundtrack could have elevated the viewing experience and added layers of complexity to the narrative.
