Synopsis

Bernardo is an Argentinian professor and renowned architect whose Spanish wife Cris has recently died. He refuses to accomplish her last wish, to have her ashes scattered through Costa del Sol in Spain, where she was born and returned to every year to visit her sister, as he considers it to be sacrilegious. But after criminals desecrate her grave, Bernardo changes his mind and teams up with bankrupt businessman Abel and public relations employee Amalia to travel to Costa del Sol and grant Cris' wish. To achieve this, they must endure many absurd situations, through which Bernardo will slowly discover his wife's secret life.

The soundtrack of Yo, mi mujer y mi mujer muerta effectively captures the emotional journey of the characters as they embark on a quirky and unexpected adventure.

Laura Green
5/10

The soundtrack of Yo, mi mujer y mi mujer muerta perfectly captures the emotional journey of the characters through a mix of melancholic melodies and uplifting tunes. The music enhances the storytelling, adding depth and resonance to the scenes.

Daniel Campbell
2/10

The lack of thematic cohesion in the soundtrack was disappointing. The music seemed disjointed and disconnected from the narrative, making it difficult to establish a strong emotional connection with the characters and their struggles. It felt like an afterthought rather than a carefully crafted element of the film.

Paul Davis
7/10

The music seamlessly blends traditional Argentinean influences with modern sounds, creating a unique and engaging listening experience that enhances the storytelling.

Joshua Anderson
7/10

Each track in the soundtrack complements the scenes perfectly, elevating the comedic moments and adding depth to the poignant ones, making the viewer feel more connected to the characters.

Brian Smith
5/10

The use of traditional Spanish guitar in the soundtrack adds an authentic touch to the film, creating a sense of nostalgia and connection to the characters' journey to Costa del Sol. The music beautifully complements the stunning visuals of the Spanish landscapes, enhancing the overall cinematic experience.

Timothy Davis
2/10

The choice of musical styles and instruments in the soundtrack often felt mismatched with the tone and setting of the film. Instead of complementing the scenes and enhancing the atmosphere, the music sometimes clashed with the visuals, creating a discordant and distracting viewing experience. It was evident that more thoughtful curation and composition could have greatly improved the overall impact of the film's soundtrack.

Edward Williams
7/10

Overall, the soundtrack of Yo, mi mujer y mi mujer muerta is a standout element of the film, adding an extra layer of richness to the story and leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

John Wilson
1/10

The soundtrack of Yo, mi mujer y mi mujer muerta did not effectively capture the emotional depth and complexity of the characters' journey. The music felt generic and uninspired, failing to enhance the storytelling or evoke genuine feelings of grief, love, or redemption.
