En la película Backstabbed, la vida de Emily parece perfecta: tiene un esposo amoroso, una hija adorable y un trabajo envidiable. Sin embargo, todo cambia cuando su mejor amiga, Stephanie, comienza a actuar de manera extraña y distante.
Emily comienza a sospechar que Stephanie le está traicionando y pronto descubre que su amiga ha estado conspirando en su contra todo este tiempo. Stephanie ha estado manipulando situaciones para hacerle creer a Emily que está perdiendo la cordura, poniendo en peligro su matrimonio, su trabajo y su relación con su hija.
