Sinopsis
En febrero de 2011, millones de egipcios se unieron para derrocar al presidente Hosni Mubarak en lo que se convirtió en el momento decisivo de la Primavera Árabe. Durante el último año, Children of the Revolution ha seguido a tres jóvenes revolucionarios mientras chocan sus diferentes visiones del nuevo Egipto. Ahmed Hassan esperaba que un nuevo Egipto significara encontrar trabajo. El deseo de Gigi Ibrahim, educado en Occidente, era un país abierto y liberal. Tahir Yasin, torturado en las cárceles de Mubarak, se unió a un nuevo partido ultraconservador con la esperanza de hacer realidad su visión de Egipto como un estado islámico.
