Sinopsis
La pequeña Elif vive con su madre Melek, su padrastro Veysel, su hermanastra Zeynep y su hermanastro Murat. Elif tiene casi 5 años pero es mucho más madura que sus compañeros. Es muy útil y, al mismo tiempo, lo suficientemente fuerte como para soportar la crueldad de su padrastro. Veysel es un jugador violento y desesperado que tortura no solo a Melek sino también al pequeño Elif. Planea vender a Elif para pagar sus deudas de juego. Por pura coincidencia, Melek descubre la mala intención de su marido y descubre el pasaporte en nombre de su hija. Para salvar a su hija, finalmente decide llamar a su amiga de toda la vida Ayse y le pide ayuda. Ayse es una sirvienta en la casa de la rica familia Emiroglu donde solía trabajar Melek. Cuando Ayse llega a la casa de Melek, se sorprende mucho al ver a su viejo amigo en una situación desesperada.
