Sinopsis
21 de agosto de 1974. En Marsella, dos turistas belgas, Nicole y Malia, son salvajemente atacadas y violadas por tres hombres. Sus atacantes afirman que las mujeres consintieron y se les permitió permanecer libres. Aunque sus amigos y familiares les aconsejan que olviden la terrible experiencia, Nicole y Malia deciden luchar. Con la ayuda de su abogada, Gisèle Halimi, solicitan que los agresores sean juzgados en el juzgado de lo penal. El 8 de mayo de 1978, tras una larga batalla, finalmente obtienen justicia. Un juicio que hizo historia ya que hasta entonces la violación se había considerado simplemente una falta, mientras que ahora se convirtió en un delito.
