Sinopsis
No fue hasta que cayó la oscura cortina de secreto de Nicolae Ceausescu que Rumanía quedó expuesta como un país en estado de desastre. Quizás la mayor atrocidad ha sido el descubrimiento de los hogares para niños irrecuperables, un sistema de gobierno nacional a través del cual los niños más discapacitados de Rumania son apiñados en edificios deteriorados donde reciben un cuidado inferior y, a veces, brutal.
