Sinopsis
Un fotógrafo ganador del premio Pulitzer llamado Mosley es expulsado de su trabajo por su jefe (Bobcat Goldthwait) por no tomar fotografías sensacionales de manera constante. Encuentra una cámara vieja en la venta de garaje de una rata de carga, que luego encuentra que tiene una película sin revelar. Lo desarrolla, ve pruebas de que extraterrestres secuestraron a un hombre e intenta pedirle ayuda a diferentes personas, incluida la Fuerza Aérea, el periódico, un fanático de los ovnis y, finalmente, un tabloide. El tabloide publica su historia de una manera que se burla de él. Se dirige a la oficina de la prensa sensacionalista para enfrentarse al presidente, se pelea y lo arrojan a la cárcel, donde se encuentra con otro fanático de los ovnis (Billy Bob Thornton). Él es rescatado (¡justo a tiempo!) Por una hermosa joven llamada Paige cuyo padre estaba en las fotos siendo secuestrado, y ha desaparecido desde entonces ...
