Sinopsis

Clear and Present Danger

Jack Ryan está de vuelta y esta vez los malos están dentro de su propio gobierno. Cuando el Almirante James Greer se enferma de cáncer, Ryan es nombrado Director Adjunto de Inteligencia de la CIA. Casi antes de que pueda tomar aliento en su nueva posición, uno de los amigos más cercanos del presidente y su familia son asesinados mientras duermen por lo que parece ser carteles de drogas. Ryan es llamado para investigar, pero desconocido para él, la CIA ya ha enviado a un agente secreto de campo para liderar una fuerza paramilitar ilegal en Colombia contra los carteles.

Las cosas se complican aún más cuando su equipo es tendido y pierde a un agente en el campo y una amiga de su esposa, que era la secretaria del agente asesinado, es asesinada ese mismo día. Ryan debe arriesgar no solo su carrera, sino también su vida para exponer la verdad detrás del misterio.
