Sinopsis

Hoy en día solo hay un maestro que puede producir el papel pergamino que estaba disponible en Bergama en los años 190 a.C. El último maestro de procesamiento de cuero en el mundo es el Maestro Ismail de 82 años en Bergama.

Master Ismail quiere transferir sus habilidades a alguien para mantener vivo el procesamiento de cuero y la fabricación de pergamino, pero los jóvenes que trabajan a su lado no resisten las dificultades y abandonan el trabajo.

Una mujer que está ansiosa por aprender este duro oficio que requiere dedicación y fuerza, logra persuadir a Master Ismail con gran dificultad.

Desde ese día, los pergaminos se convierten en la mayor pasión de esta mujer que vive sola lejos de su familia.

El documental narra la historia de esta mujer que cree que logró aprender el arte de hacer pergamino del maestro, el único de su tipo en el país.
