Sinopsis
Nina, una profesora de idioma ucraniano de 30 años, no puede salir de la ciudad de Lugansk, ocupada por separatistas en el este de Ucrania. Se ve obligada a seguir cursos de reciclaje para enseñar ruso. Andrii es un estudiante de 17 años que quedó huérfano después de la guerra. Sus caminos se cruzan cuando Nina ve a Andrii siendo arrestado por la policía después de colocar la bandera ucraniana en el techo de su escuela. Nina sabe que debido a que viven en un mundo de injusticia, Andrii puede permanecer en la cárcel durante mucho tiempo. Por eso arriesga su vida para liberarlo. Mientras gravitan el uno hacia el otro, intentan recordar a las personas en los territorios ocupados que ellos también merecen un futuro.
