Sinopsis

One Fine Day es una historia que sigue a Melanie Parker, una arquitecta y madre de Sammy, y Jack Taylor, un columnista de periódico y padre de Maggie, ambos divorciados. Se encuentran una mañana cuando el abrumado Jack se queda inesperadamente con Maggie y olvida que Melanie debía llevarla a la escuela. Como resultado, ella y Sammy se pierden la excursión escolar y quedan atrapados con sus padres.

Melanie y Jack proyectan sus estereotipos negativos de ex cónyuges el uno en el otro, pero terminan necesitando depender el uno del otro para cuidar de Sammy y Maggie, ya que cada uno debe salvar su trabajo. El humor se añade por la tendencia de Sammy a meter objetos en su nariz y la tendencia de Maggie a vagar.
