Sinopsis
Kate Sullivan es una madre soltera de tres hijas que trabaja en dos empleos mientras estudia para ser enfermera.
Es asignada a limpiar alfombras en un yate propiedad del mimado y arrogante playboy Leonardo 'Leo' Montenegro.
Leo hace comentarios groseros hacia Kate y la despide sin paga cuando se niega a llevarle comida.
Cuando Kate llama la atención sobre su comportamiento, Leo la empuja fuera del barco junto con su equipo de limpieza.
Mientras tanto, en México, las hermanas de Leo, Magdalena y Sofía, están cuidando a su padre enfermo.
Furiosa cuando se anuncia que Leo será su sucesor para dirigir la empresa familiar, Magda decide visitarlo.
Esa noche, Leo se cae del yate y cae al océano sin ser notado.
Despierta en una playa con amnesia y sin recordar su identidad.
Deambula por la ciudad y finalmente llega al hospital.
Magda lo encuentra y lo deja allí sin reclamarlo después de enterarse de que tiene amnesia.
Regresa a casa y reporta falsamente que Leo ha muerto.
Sofía sospecha que Magda está mintiendo...
